Each individual is evaluated by our registered Occupational Therapist who is also a Certified Driver Rehabilitaion Specialist. She evaluates the underlying skills that need to be intact for safe, successful driving. Some of these skills are:

Peruption

Response Time

The individual is then evaluated to establish their functional level, strength, range of motion and coordination. Then the fun part! The individual is taken on the road, as appropriate, in one of our adapted vehicles. Ford Taurus or Ford E-150 Series w/c accessible van. We have a variety of equipment to meet various needs. Recommendations are made the same day for equipment and training needs.
